He returns from Mexico tonight!
Jameson always teases me and says my life would be so boring without him. He's right.
Little Birdies
First, I am sorry that we disappeared for months. That's what happens when one of your former students tells you you're famous because he saw a picture of you and your husband on the internet. He found our blog--though he doesn't even know what a blog is. Ooops. My bad. I frantically called Jameson at work and he made the blog private. Hopefully my former students have given up searching for anything related to my life on the internet by now!
Anyway, I clearly have lots of catching up to do. For now, you get a story about some birds that wanted to establish residence in our new abode (stay tuned for new cute cottage pictures)!
A couple weeks ago we left our bathroom window open (without a screen on it) and both Jameson and I left. Jameson came home to two little birds just hanging out in our bathroom. Well, I guess they weren't just hanging out--they were trying to get out but without much success! Jameson facilitated their departure and captured some shots for me (since I would definitely get a kick out of this). I do think it's a good thing I wasn't there, though ;) They left a gross mess behind and we're glad they finally made it out. I do like little birds, but I prefer pictures of their silhouettes!
They were in love.
Jameson called them "a mating pair." He was sure they were male and female. I don't know that much about birds.
Ouch. We still worry about these two little love birds from time to time, wondering if they made it out without serious injuries and emotional trauma.
